Nicki Minaj Goes At Jay-Z And Roc Nation

 

Nicki Minaj is going at Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez and Jay-Z like crazy on X. She’s accused the company, led by Jay-Z and CEO Desiree Perez, of sabotaging her career, manipulating industry mechanisms against her, and targeting her family, including her husband Kenneth Petty and their child. 

Nicki has claimed Roc Nation owes her between $100-200 million, particularly referencing a TIDAL deal where she alleges she was shorted a $9 million payout. She’s also supported claims from Perez’s estranged daughter, Demoree Hadley, who accused Roc Nation of abusing Minaj’s freedom of speech and tarnishing her image.

Recently, Minaj celebrated a court ruling allowing a lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion, a Roc Nation affiliate, to proceed, calling it “Karma’s Law.” Her grievances partly stem from her decision to sign with Young Money instead of Roc Nation early in her career and perceived slights like Lil Wayne being passed over for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show. Roc Nation and Jay-Z have not publicly responded to these allegations.
