Twista Single Goes Platinum After 16 Years

 The legendary Chicago rapper Twista continues to receive accolades for his music. RIAA had recognized two of his songs as platinum and gold in 2025. 

RIAA has acknowledged Twista's single "Wetter" as platinum. They also acknowledged his other single, "Make A Movie" featuring Chris Brown, as gold. 

The track’s recent platinum and gold certification by the RIAA, signifying over one million units sold or streamed, highlights its slow-burn success. While "Wetter" was a club and radio favorite upon release, its longevity can be attributed to its timeless appeal, resonating with both longtime fans and new listeners discovering Twista’s catalog.
