Cam’ron Threatens To Expose Members of Cardi B’s Team
Cam’ron is putting two unnamed members of Cardi B’s team on blast. He is warning them to either compensate him or face public exposure of private information.
During the season finale of his show Talk With Flee, Cam’ron detailed a long-running dispute that began roughly two to three years earlier. According to him, people from Cardi B’s camp approached him about contributing a verse and hook to a remake of his 2000 classic “What Means the World to You.” The track was intended for her album Am I the Drama?.
Cam’ron said he recorded the part after being promised that Cardi would appear on his talk show in return. The collaboration was ultimately shelved and never made the final album. The promised interview also never happened.
“I still need my interview. If not, y’all gotta compensate me for my time,” Cam’ron said. He stressed that he delivered what was asked of him and that the other side did not hold up their end.
He repeatedly made clear that his issue is not with Cardi B herself. “I’m not putting this on Cardi,” he said. “Cardi might not even know this shit. I’m just saying, the people around her is making promises on her behalf, and she might not even notice. So you gotta stop making promises on these artists’ behalf, and they don’t know.”
Cam’ron then escalated the threat. Addressing the two individuals he says harassed him for the verse over a couple of years, he issued a direct warning: “Take this as a warning. Send that paper through for my time, or I’mma tell how you like to be on all fours, and your ass tickled with, pause, ‘cause I know a girl [who’s] with you. … I’m gonna put your text messages up. … The next show is your text messages.”
He also indicated he could leak the unreleased collaboration on his You’re Welcome Network YouTube channel if the situation is not resolved.
Cardi B has not publicly commented on Cam’ron’s claims, and the specific team members have not been named. Cam’ron framed the segment as the start of a new “Leave Flee Alone” style of calling out people he feels have done him dirty.
The situation highlights ongoing industry tensions around verbal agreements, unreleased features, and the gap between artists and the people who speak on their behalf. Whether Cam’ron follows through on the threats or the parties settle the dispute privately remains to be seen.
