Lil Baby's "Fresh" Arrives Nov. 6: Future, Young Thug, Pharrell and Everything We Know So Far
Lil Baby is about to run it back. His fifth studio album, Fresh, arrives Friday, Nov. 6, and the rollout has already given us a Pharrell-produced single, a reunion with two of his most frequent collaborators, and a very busy pre-order store. Here's everything we can confirm a week out, and a few things to double-check once the album actually lands.
The Release
According to Billboard, Lil Baby officially announced the project on Tuesday, Oct. 20, along with the cover art and the tracklist. The album has 17 tracks, and Billboard says only two of them feature guests. It's set to arrive through Quality Control and Motown, per Pitchfork. The official press release from Universal Music Canada, dated Oct. 21, also lists Wolfpack Global Music.
Complex reports that the date was teased a few days earlier. On Friday, Oct. 16, Baby posted a whiteboard of 17 song titles on Instagram with the caption "It's That Season," adding, "Countdown Starts Now. 20 Days."
Who's on It
The headline feature is a reunion. Complex says "All My Patnas" brings Future and Young Thug back together with Baby, and the press release lists Rylo Rodriguez on that song too, while Rylo also appears on "In Your Head." The release spells the first title "All My Partnas," so expect the spelling to vary across outlets.
Pitchfork's tracklist also includes Bally Baby and Fatt Smaxx on "Coast 2 Coast," which they describe as one of the album's already-released singles. The official press release's tracklist doesn't list that song, so the final lineup is worth checking when the album drops. Billboard describes Rylo as Baby's 4PF running mate.
The Singles
The rollout started with "Dead Fresh." Billboard says it came out in July and reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. The press release adds that it has spent 12 weeks on the Hot 100 and recently hit No. 1 at Urban and Rhythmic radio. Pharrell Williams produced it, and Billboard says the track premiered during Louis Vuitton's Spring-Summer 2027 men's show in June.
Not everybody agrees on it, either. HotNewHipHop described "Dead Fresh" as "quite controversial," saying some people online think it's hot garbage while others call it the catchiest Lil Baby song in years. That's one outlet's read of online chatter.
Earlier in October, Baby linked with Bally Baby and Fatt Smaxk on "Coast 2 Coast." The press release says the video has the trio on a school bus turned party bus in Atlanta. Billboard adds that he also appeared on Quavo's QROMELIFE album for "Ball My Love."
Where Baby Is Coming From
Fresh follows a big run. Billboard says his last studio album, WHAM, arrived in January 2025 and topped the Billboard 200, and he closed out 2025 with the mixtape The Leaks in December. The Leaks debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and included "Mrs. Trendsetter," which peaked at No. 64 on the Hot 100.
The Future and Young Thug connection isn't new. Complex notes the trio's "Dum, Dumb, and Dumber" from WHAM peaked at No. 16 on the Hot 100. Complex also says Future's last solo project was The Real Me in July, and that Young Thug is working on an R&B-leaning follow-up to UY SCUTI.
Pre-Orders and Merch
Pre-orders are live. Billboard says the merch packs include signed vinyl, CDs, zip-up hoodies, and long-sleeve shirts. The press release says signed vinyl and CD pre-orders launched alongside two exclusive merch fan packs at lilbaby.store. If you're thinking about a signed copy, buy only from the official store listed in the release.
What to Watch For
Here's what we'll be tracking when the album drops. First, whether "All My Patnas" delivers the Future and Thug chemistry fans are hoping for. Second, how many of the pre-release singles actually make the final cut. Third, how it opens on the Billboard 200. We don't have any projections yet, and we won't guess at a number.
For now, the facts are simple: 17 tracks, a Nov. 6 release, a short guest list, and a hit single from Pharrell. Everything else, including the sound of the full project, will have to wait for the first listen.
So what's your pick? Which Lil Baby album is the best entry point before Fresh drops?
