Jim Jones Shuts Down A Possible Collab With Max B
Jim Jones just shut the door again. After Max B spent last week leaving it cracked open, Capo went on Hot 97 and made the answer short.
“NEVER. Let’s get that outta there quick. Dub. Pack him up.”
That was Jones’s response to Max B saying he would work with him again if the money made sense. The timing is not subtle. Max B’s comments from The Jason Lee Show had been everywhere for a week. Jones did not need a day to think it over.
On The Jason Lee Show, Max B refused to re-litigate the old fallout in detail. He called himself a father of four and a husband, said he is “on new time,” and added that he is not with the drama. Then he was asked the question Harlem has been asking since he came home last November.
Would he make music with Jim Jones again?
“Shout to Capo. Shout to the crew. I wanna see y’all win,” he said. “I’m at the place where if it makes sense and it makes money. Like I told y’all before, this is not my first interview saying that, if it makes money, it makes sense. If it don’t make money, it’s Internet juicy gossip; it’s not conducive to the Biggavels.”
He also noted he is on parole and not trying to beef with anybody. His job, he said, is to make product and link with as many artists as he can.
