Tony Yayo Speaks On G-Unit Scuffle With Travis Scott
G-Unit’s Tony Yayo appeared on The Breakfast Club and cleared up rumors about a tense moment with Travis Scott at a New York City club last month.
The incident took place on July 18 at Zero Bond during a Raising Cane’s/Fanatics weekend event where 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, and Uncle Murda were also on stage with him. G-Unit affiliates were in attendance, and the night reportedly got rowdy, with earlier reports involving Travis Scott, bottles being thrown, and NBA player Jordan Clarkson also getting mixed up in the chaos before some people were escorted out.
Yayo explained that after the performance, as G-Unit tried to move through Scott’s section near the stage, Scott told them they couldn’t pass. According to Yayo, Scott “told the wrong person” with a line like “Yo, you can’t come through here,” and a short scuffle followed.
“It was a little scuffle, ain’t nothin’,” Yayo said. “Shout out to Travis Scott.” He emphasized that G-Unit didn’t start anything and described the situation as minor, with the group handling it easily. Yayo chalked a lot of it up to the overall wild energy of the night, with people drinking and acting out.
The story comes as Yayo continues promoting his new Complex series, Feed Yayo. He downplayed any ongoing tension, framing the moment as a brief club mishap rather than a major beef.
