KenTheMan Disses One Of The Joe Budden Podcast Host

Houston rapper KenTheMan didn’t waste time responding to criticism from Joe Budden Podcast co-host Emanny. Just days after episode 973, she dropped a freestyle over Drake’s “Quebec” beat aimed directly at him.

What Happened on the Pod

During the episode, Joe Budden and co-host Ice were hyping KenTheMan’s new music and upcoming EP. Emanny pushed back, arguing the hosts were being hypocritical. He pointed out that they regularly criticize Megan Thee Stallion for sounding repetitive, yet were playing and praising KenTheMan tracks that, in his view, followed a similar pattern.

Emanny said the songs Joe played sounded alike and accused the room of propping up music they wouldn’t fully endorse from other artists. Ice fired back that Emanny often brings mediocre R&B to the show without pushback. The exchange grew heated; Joe and Ice defended the difference in career stage, while Emanny maintained they were selective about when “same sound” was a problem. Emanny eventually walked off during the segment.

KenTheMan’s Response

KenTheMan responded quickly with a freestyle over the “Quebec” beat. She also posted related content on Instagram, including a message along the lines of “Tell him to shut up sometimes.” Reports noted she flipped elements of Emanny’s recent music in the track.

Joe Budden amplified it on X, posting: “KenTheMan ended Emanny in 48 hours flat.”
